On February 17 and 18, 2022, the virtual CIRCLE Board & Selection meeting was held.

The CIRCLE consortium which is composed of the University of Graz (coordinator), Chalmers University of Technology, Delft University of Technology, Leiden University, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology has selected the best candidates for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship and a study place on the Erasmus Mundus "International Master's Programme on Circular Economy" for the fourth cohort. Nonetheless, the final approval of all selected CIRCLE students and scholarship holders will be done by the European Commission (EC) in late April 2022.

A total of 929 interested students and graduates registered on the application platform, of which 302 applications were successfully submitted. 134 applications were qualified as eligible. These applications were thoroughly reviewed, evaluated and ranked by the CIRCLE Admission Committee according to the established selection criteria and the point system published on the programme's website.

Within the next days, all applicants will be informed about the selection results via email.
