Why did you choose the Joint Degree?

My former BA program was centered in the field of cultural studies (with sociology and economics as a minor), however I wanted to strengthen the sociological approach of my former studies. Therefore, I was lucky to be able to continue the path of cultural studies while connecting it with a more sociological approach at the same time. Moreover, I chose the Joint Degree as I liked the idea of an international master program located at different universities in Europe, the possibility to experience different cities and to be able to get in contact with people from around the world during my studies. - Marian Paradella

I chose Joint Degree Master Programme of Cultural Sociology after completing my bachelor studies in Sociology, Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Zadar firstly because I wanted to focus my further studies on sociology. Furthermore, I was attracted by the opportunity, or obligation to be more precise, of studying one semester abroad at one of the partner universities. I had the idea of prolonging that studying abroad period as long as possible, which I succeed and since then I feel like it was highly beneficial for my academic profile, as well as for my future professional development. - Lea Kožul

For me the content of studies is very important. I had the background in Cultural Studies, which I wanted to make more applicable for modern world issues (Sociology). - Oksana Zinchenko
