Partner Universities

The universities in the consortium, University of Graz, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Leipzig University, Utrecht University, University of Basel, and Hiroshima University work together to ensure a high-quality international curriculum with regional aspects.

You can choose four universities of the consortium (University of Graz, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Leipzig University, Hiroshima University) as your entrance university and enroll there as a studen of the Joint International Master in Sustainable Development.
Please note that if you choose Hiroshima University as your preferred entrance university, you can only apply for the Joint Degree option with a mandatory mobility of 60 ECTS credits at the University of Graz or Leipzig University.

The 'entrance university' is defined as the university where you are enrolled as a regular student, at which you start and finish the programme.

The University of Basel and Utrecht University are mobility partners in this programme. You can spend your mandatory mobility semester in Basel or Utrecht, but you cannot enroll there as your entrance university.

Please note that you can spend your mandatory mobility semester at any of these six partner universities (except your entance university).

Stellenbosch University and Teri School of Advanced Studies are associated partners in the programme. You can spend an additional study period in South Africa or India. You can find more information about this under Mobility.
