The ASEAN+ Youth Summit 2023 was held in hybrid mode on July 1 and 15, August 5 and 19 (online) and September 6-8 , 2023  (face-to-face)  in Jakarta and Bogor, Indonesia. The summit was attended by 77 delegates from 21 countries to discuss, negotiate and make recommendations to ASEAN leaders. 

The summit discussed five priority issues namely:
(1) Digital Literacy and Inclusion,
(2) Food Security,
(3) Green Economy,
(4) Future of Education and Work, and
(5) Health.

Our CIRCLE student Yulia Ratnasari was the chair and the Indonesian delegation on Green Economy (GE). The five agreed consensus on GE focused on transitions and managing transitions, namely: youth, MSMEs, green infrastructure, monitoring framework, and loss and damage frameworks.
