4th Student Conference of the European Joint Master's Programme in English and American Studies

The fourth student and alumni conference of the European Joint Master's Programme in English and American Studies will take place on 25 April 2024 in Bamberg, Germany, under the title "Diversity: Literary, Cultural and Linguistic Perspectives".

The consortium would like to invite all students in and graduates of the Joint Master's Programme to contribute to the conference with either a paper or a poster presentation which deals with the topic of diversity from a literary, cultural, linguistic or transdisciplinary angle.

Within the area of English and American Studies, there is ample opportunity to explore representations and negotiations of cultural diversity. We encourage you thus to participate in our conference with papers examining diversity and plurality in the areas of language, religion, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, etc. and their literary and cultural representations.

We accept your proposals by 1 November 2023 and will inform all applicants of our decision by 1 December 2023.
Please send your proposals (max. 300 words) plus a short bio (max. 200 words) to conferences.englit(at)uni-bamberg.de
Please find further information in our call for papers.
