Joint Lecture Series - First Lecture

First online lecture on "Binary or diversity? A multimodal approach to Michael Jackson’s music video Black or White"

This semester the European Joint Master’s Programme in English and American Studies started a new collaboration in the form of an online Joint Lecture Series.

The first online lecture took place on November 8, 2023, and the attendance of Prof. Dr. Manfred Krug’s talk from the University of Bamberg exceeded all expectations.

80 students and faculty members attended  his online lecture entitled ‘Binary or diversity? A multimodal approach to Michael Jackson’s music video Black or White’.

The next talk in the series will take place on December 13, 2023.
Prof. Andrew Monnickendam from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona will give a lecture on ‘Why food studies matter’.
