NERPS Conference 2024 - Deadline extended

The deadline for submission of abstracts for the NERPS 2024 Conference has been extended to November 15, 2023.

The Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) at Hiroshima University (Japan) will host the 3rd NERPS conference titled The NERPS 2024 Conference (NERPS 2024) from March 6 to 9, 2024 at the Higashi-Hiroshima campus of Hiroshima University in Japan.

The Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) is an international network of educators, researchers, and practitioners collaborating towards the advancement of peaceful and sustainable societies amidst global challenges. It engages with a wide range of stakeholders to identify research priorities and emerging issues related to peace and sustainability and implement innovative interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary education and research projects. Based at Hiroshima University’s Higashi-Hiroshima campus, NERPS also contributes to the promotion of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves as a resource hub for SDG-related activities of Hiroshima University.

The NERPS 2024 Conference "Navigating Peace and Sustainability in an Increasingly Complex World" invites students, researchers, and practitioners to present their work and forge partnerships for transdisciplinary research and multilateral action. The conference will feature research presentations, expert roundtables, innovative workshops, and an optional excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Miyajima and the historic city of Hiroshima. 

The deadline for submitting abstracts is 15 November 2023.
