General Information
Begin of page section: Contents:

The programme is organized as a Joint Programme. This means that you complete your studies at two universities: your entrance university and your mobility university.
Your entrance university is your main university where you start and finish your programme. For your entrance university, you can only select one of the degree-awarding universities below.
Your mobility university is where you will spend your obligatory mobility semester abroad. This university cannot be the same as your entrance university. In addition to the five degree-awarding universities, there are three universities that you can choose as your mobility university.
What does this mean in terms of ECTS?
The European Joint Master's Programme in English and American Studies comprises 120 ECTS credits corresponding to a period of study of at least four semesters or two years. Out of these 120 ECTS, you have to earn at least 60 ECTS at your entrance university (30 ECTS in courses and 30 ECTS for your MA Thesis) and you have to earn at least 30 ECTS at your mobility university.
