The Joint Master’s Programme in Translation is offered in by the University of Graz (Austria) and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia).


Objectives:
Its aim is to equip students with the skills needed by professional translators in today's globalised world.


Courses
The courses include general introductions to professional ethics, computer-assisted translation, terminology management and project management, as well as specialist translation modules ranging from business, law, science and technology to arts & culture, literature and film. Translation theory is discussed in lectures and seminars, and students also complete a master thesis.


Mobility:
To further enhance their language proficiency and intercultural skills, students spend one semester at the partner university abroad.
